Overview
With DMXControl 2 you get a program for the arrangement and control of your light show. You can control DMX equipment like a dimmer, LED PAR Can or Moving Heads from the computer with this program. DMXControl 2 has two special program modules which can be used for many different fields of application. From private parties to fully computer-controlled Christmas Lighting, DMXControl 2 has simple and complex features to suit discotheques or at events like choir, theater or musicals.
Important features
The most important performance features of DMXControl 2 are:

- support 1024 output channels (at 2 interfaces with 512 channels) and 512 input channels

License
DMXControl 2 is a freeware project which means you can use the program free of cost on any way from event. If you liked to support the project nevertheless financially, you have the possibility of sending DMXControl Projects e. V. a donation on the organization website[1].
The project isn't, however, an OpenSource project, i. e. the source code of the program isn't available publicly. A publication of the source code would lead to a confused mass as in the case of other typical OpenSource projects at different versions with respectively other advantages and disadvantages. To prevent this, the source code of DMXControl 2 remains accessible to only the programming team. Through this the competences of the developer team are bundled appropriately through which the project altogether wins at quality. This excludes the cooperation from further community members, however, under no circumstances. By a modular construction with many different interfaces Plugins of one's own can be developed with simple means. In addition, the programming team also is unlocked opposite reinforcements which would like to bring herself in more intensively and in the long run. Whoever would seriously like to help to improve DMXControl 2 further may call about the information mail address of the project any time.
DMXControl's developers are always happy on the other side about feedback to adapt the program still better to the requirements of the different event types. You can prepare corresponding experience reports here in the DMXControl Wiki and himself in the DMXControl forum[2] with other users from the exchange community.
