Blackout is a feature found on almost all lighting consoles and in every lighting control software. It immediately turns off all devices.

Overview

Unlike cheaper lighting consoles, DMXControl 3 only sets the dimmer channels to zero or closes the shutter. All other functions, such as the position or movements of moving heads, the gobo wheel, the color wheel, etc., remain unchanged.

Usage

Blackout can be toggled on and off via the menu bar on the left side.

External Control

Another way to trigger blackout is through the Input Assignment.
