In the Application and Project Settings both the settings for the entire program and the settings for projects are defined.

Overview

In DMXControl 3, there are three types of settings:

  • Application Settings: These define the general settings and behavior of the software.
  • Default settings for a new project: All settings related to the assigned entries apply to a new, empty project.
  • Default settings for the current project: These set all defaults for the currently loaded project. These settings are also accessible through the context menu of the respective main entry in the Project Explorer.

Important hint The defaults from the Application Settings and Default settings for a new project are only stored locally on the respective PC. When switching to another PC, it must be checked whether the settings meet the requirements.
