The Grand-Master belongs to the group of Special-Masters and is included in every project. It controls the intensity of all Devices in the project, provided they have a dimmer. It doesn't matter whether this dimmer actually exists in the device or is generated by the Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL). All devices will have their brightness adjusted in proportion to the current output, including those devices not assigned to any Group Master.
If a device only has a shutter or, for example, a color of an LED that simply switches on and off, the Grand-Master does not apply.
